Back to Winter

We've enjoyed April temperatures here in February. That's about to change just after the weekend.

Another very warm and very breezy day in store for us. We started the morning only in the mid-60's, this breaks a record for the highest minimum temperature for the day (62° in 2005). Mostly cloudy skies will "hold" the temperature in the upper 70's but our western counties will get into the 80's! Watch our for possible grass fires with this wind and dry conditions:

We've only had a trace of rain this month but that's about to change. A front arrives late day tomorrow. Even though the better rain chances are south of the DFW area most of north Texas should see some rain. Amounts don't look too generous save for the southern tier:

A better chance of rain for all of north Texas arrives on Tuesday and Tuesday night. Notice the highs only in the 50's from Monday thru Wednesday! Back to winter! It'll be VERY windy overnight into Wednesday morning so it'll even feel colder. Temperatures are forecasted to stay above freezing if you've already started your Spring garden.
