Azle Police Investigate Fatal Motorcycle Accident

AZLE (CBSDFW.COM) - Azle police responded to an accident involving a single motorcycle with two riders Saturday afternoon.

According to police, the motorcycle reportedly lost control on an off-ramp after exiting westbound Highway 199 at the FM 730 exit.

Patrol officers and EMS arrived at the scene and found a male driver and female passenger badly injured.

Police said the riders were not wearing helmets.

Both people were taken by CareFlite to Texas Health Harris Hospital in Fort Worth.

Azle police confirmed Sunday morning that the female passenger died from her injuries. Her identity has not released.

Police will continue to investigate the accident.
