Attempted Abduction Investigated

ROWLETT (CBSDFW.COM) - Demanding a child get into his car.   Rowlett Police are looking for the man behind a reported attempted abduction.

Police told CBS 11 Monday evening, the incident happened at Chiesa Road and Bobbie Lane last Friday shortly after Schrade Middle School let out for the day.

A man allegedly yelled, "Get in my car now," and the child ran.

The suspect is described as Hispanic and between 30 to 40-years-old with short black hair.  He's said to be driving a truck with a gray decal that looks like, "wavy, fire-like lines" according to Rowlett Police.

If you have seen this vehicle or possibly know who this vehicle belongs to, Rowlett Police say to call 972-412-6200 and press the option to speak to the Criminal Investigations Division.
