Asphalt Roller Crushes, Kills Grapevine Man

TARRANT COUNTY (CBSDFW.COM) - An employee for a City of Colleyville contractor died after he was crushed by an asphalt roller Thursday morning.
Brendon Heep of Grapevine suffered crush injuries to his pelvis and right leg.
The road construction accident happened in the 500 block of Cheek-Sparger Road.
Public Information Officer for Collin County, Marc Flake sent CBS11 the following statement:
"Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of the deceased. However, since this incident is currently under investigation, we will have no other details to provide at this time."
The investigation is ongoing.
