DALLAS (KRLD) - They say the Aztecs were trying to make beer when they accidentally discovered chocolate. This weekend's Dallas Chocolate Festival in Addison will celebrate the rich delicious treat known as Chocolati.

"This is the sixth year of our Dallas Chocolate Festival.  We'll have probably twelve hundred people come thru the doors" said Sander Wolf of The Dallas Chocolate Festival.

Chocolate even has a healthy aspect. "There are antioxidants that are in dark chocolate which have been suggested to help with vascular health"  said practicing physician and chocolatier Dr. Sue Williams of Dr. Sue's Chocolate in Grapevine.

You should buy your tickets in advance for the Saturday event at The Addison Conference Centre.  JD Ryan is Around Town with all the sweet detail.
