Around Town: Addison Oktoberfest

Last night in Addison they did what the folks do in Munich every year at this same time, they rolled out the barrel for the annual Oktoberfest celebration.
The crowd in Addison this year is expected to top 70,000 folks. "A lot of them come dressed in their Dirndls and their Lederhosen and just really getting into the spirit of Oktoberfest" said Mary Rosenbleeth, Public Communications Director for the Town of Addison.
The Addison Oktoberfest is in the running for the 'Most Authentic' in the USA Today Reader poll. "We want to encourage everybody to go online to our website and vote to make us the favorite in the country" Mary added.
