Angry Orchard Issues Recall For Possible Exploding Bottles

(CBSDFW.COM) -- Angry orchard is recalling some potentially-explosive bottles. The company says the cider shows signs of being re-fermented, which increases carbonation levels. That could cause the bottle to explode under the increased pressure.

If you have a 12-pack, check for a freshness date of June 2016.

The company says if a bottle of the Angry Orchard Crisp Apple Hard Cider falls within the designated code ranges, consumers should handle with extreme care and dispose of the product immediately in an outside container. The Company said they would issue a full refund on the products.

Officials at Angry Orchard also said that to date, no illnesses or injuries have been reported. Consumers with questions should contact Angry Orchard via its website: http://angryorchard.com/contact-us or by calling 1-800-362-7110 (24-hours, live operator available).
