Amber Alert canceled, missing 14-year-old North Texas girl found
An Amber Alert issued for a missing 14-year-old Carrollton girl has been canceled.
The girl was found Friday evening after last being seen around 4:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. last Friday near Old Denton Road between Trinity Mills Road and Frankford Road in Richardson.
The Carrollton Police Department is the point of contact, and first posted about the girl's disappearance on social media seven hours before the alert on Friday.
The child was initially reported as a runaway on Friday, Feb. 28.
