FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - There's growing concern in far north Fort Worth about aggressive coyotes approaching people's homes.

Residents have reported seeing coyotes on the prowl during the day when children are home playing in their yards.

"We have two small children, and we continue to hear reports about these aggressive attacks and we are worried about our kids," said homeowner Lindsey Moeller.

One man who lives in the area, Chris Lucero, was approached by a coyote twice during his morning jog Wednesday.

Fort Worth Code Compliance officials said they have seen some coyotes but have yet to catch any. They plan to move the wild animals out of populated areas as soon as possible.
