With 15,800 residents, and more than 170-restaurants - Addison has the highest ration of restaurants-per-capita of any city in the country. Many are locally-owned. Richard Chamberlain, who runs both the Fish Market Grill and the Steak and Chop House, says it's tough to impress diners when there are so many good restaurants.
He says it's important to hire good people, take care of the employees, and put out a good product every day. Chamberlain says the diners are so particular, restaurant chains often try new ideas in Addison to see how they will work.
