Abilene Christian Runs Past Central Arkansas 52-35

PLANO (AP) — Kade Munden threw for three touchdowns and rushed for two more to lead Abilene Christian to a 52-35 victory over Central Arkansas on Saturday.

Munden, a red-shirt freshman, started in place of Parker McKenzie who suffered a concussion in the Sam Houston State game last Saturday. Munden rushed for 100 yards and was 6 of 8 passing for 49 yards. De'Andre Brown ran the ball 28 times for 171 yards for the Wildcats (5-5, 3-3 Southland Conference). Brown also threw one pass, hitting Jamie Walker on a 45-yard scoring strike in the third.

Central Arkansas, trailing 38-28 with 7:50 remaining in the fourth, was driving when Jonathan Epps intercepted a Ryan Howard pass, and returned it 68 yards for a touchdown to seal the win. ACU's defense forced seven turnovers.

Howard threw for 392 yards and four touchdowns for Central Arkansas (5-5, 4-2).
