8th-Grader Arrested After Baking, Bringing Pot Cookies To Class

DENTON (1080 KRLD) - A North Texas middle school student was arrested and charged with a felony for bringing THC laced cookies to class.

Denton Police officer Shane Kizer said the McMath Middle School 8th-grader poured THC oil on the edibles.

"The suspect in this was allowed to go home with the father, but was then brought back and detained for manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance," said Kizer.

Two students who took bites of the marijuana cookies got sick, but are recovering.
