8 OSU Players Picked In MLB Draft

STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) - Eight Oklahoma State Cowboys have been selected in the in the 2015 Major League Baseball draft.

OSU's eight draft picks is its most in three years under head coach Josh Holliday.

Following a pair of top-10 round picks in Michael Freeman and Koda Glover on Tuesday, OSU shortstop Donnie Walton was the first Cowboy to be drafted on the final day Wednesday as he was selected by Milwaukee in the 23rd round. Tim Arakawa followed when the second baseman was taken by the Los Angeles Angels.

OSU had a pair of players drafted in the 27th round. Jon Perrin was the first to go as the right-handed pitcher was taken by Milwaukee. Perrin's battery mate, Bryan Case, went off the board when the San Francisco Giants selected the OSU catcher.
