72-Year-Old Man Dies After I-20 Rollover Accident

ARLINGTON (CBSDFW.COM) — Earl Cook, a 72-year-old Desoto resident, died after a rollover accident Saturday morning.

Fort Worth police say Cook's car stalled on I-20 near Highway 287. Another car then hit his, causing it to flip over. Officers responded to the accident around 8:55 a.m.

Officials transferred Cook to a nearby Arlington hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The lanes and ramp police and firefighters shut down are now back open.
