Long Weekend Ends With Rain

For the fifth day in a row a large swath of north Texas is under a Flash Flood Watch. It goes on until this evening:

River flooding will continue be a concern today as the rain continues. Many of the area rivers are in flood, especially the Sulphur, Sabine and Trinity river systems:

Most of the rain will be moderate today and most of it will fall the first half of the day. Temperatures will again stay in the 40's all day:

Rain chances start to ramp down as the we close our Sunday. Rainfall amounts should stay under 1" in most places:

The rain isn't completely gone. We have small chances tomorrow and again on Tuesday but most of this will be southeast of the Metroplex:

 

After this we dry out. Not much of a warm-up ahead but lows stay above freezing:
