Weather Forecast
If you liked the weather today you are going to like the weather tomorrow. Much the same but with less wind:
We have rain in the forecast going into the weekend and let's address what is likely the your biggest concern: what does Halloween night look like for the kids? Right now the forecast looks like most of the rain falls overnight into Saturday morning. Rain chances really drop off by evening:
A line of storms is forecast to push into the Metro area sometime on Friday evening. Most of the day should be cloudy but dry. We'll warn you now about the chance for some big rains moving in by the evening commute on Friday. This has the chance of greatly impacting the Friday night football games. Some strong storms could be in the line producing high winds and frequent lightning. Most of this should be east of the metro area by Saturday morning:
In light of the heavy rain last weekend the next question is how much rain will fall. Being several days out from the event the forecast models are producing a wide range of potential rainfall. We think 1" - 2" of rain is certainly possible with most it falling Friday night and overnight into Saturday morning:
