5 Sports Movies That Need To Be Made

DALLAS (105.3 THE FAN) -- Some truly iconic sports movies have been produced over the years -- many of which are based on true stories.
Here are 5 real life situations that absolutely need the big screen treatment.
1. Live Strong, Live Wrong
Yes, there's already a documentary. But more should be done to chronicle the journey of America's most disgraced champion Lance Armstrong.
From Armstrong's battle with cancer, to his six Tour de France victories, to his emotional admission to doping. Every element is present.
The story writes itself.
Ideal actor: Matthew McConaughey
2. Incognito
Much like Ray Rice has done with domestic violence, Richie Incognito brought the topic of bullying to the forefront of American conversation in 2013.
A 312-pound athlete, bullied by fellow teammates within the context of an NFL lockerroom...sounds intense.
Now, against all odds, he's working to fight his way back into the league that once shunned him. I'm sold.

3. Johnny Freefall
This needs little explanation.
You could essentially compose each scene just by monitoring Johhny Manziel's Instagram account.
Think "The Wolf of Wall Street". But how will it end? That's yet to be seen.

4. Sin Cup: The Rise and Fall of Tiger Woods
Perhaps this film is most appropriate for daytime television.
Tease: The world's top athlete divides his family with infidelity and must conquer his demons and a slew of young stars to return to top form.
On second thought, maybe it should just be a comedy.
Ideal actor: Keegan-Michael Key (of "Key & Peele" fame)
5. disgRACEd
When TMZ released damning audio of Clippers owner Donald Sterling, the sports world stopped.
The NBA had never faced such immense pressure internally and externally. Players threatened to boycott the game; sponsors cried foul. And at the middle of it all -- a high-profile divorce battle.
