There's no question -- baseball is a form of entertainment.

But most people watch and attend games to see the athletes competing on the field. However, some of the best theater occurs when players and managers are asked to leave the game.

In light of Torii Hunter's recent tirade, here are 5 of the most memorable ejections in baseball history.

1. Torii Hunter, 2015

Hunter wasn't happy with a third strike call by home plate umpire Mark Ripperger. He argued, and he was promptly ejected.

After being restrained, he removed his elbow pad, shin guard and batting gloves, and threw them towards the plate. That wasn't enough.

For good measure, he ripped off his jersey and threw that over the first-base line, before retreating to the dugout. Thankfully his pants remained on.

2. George Brett, 1983

Too much pine tar? After Brett blasted a two-run home run against the Yankees, the umpire crew took their time assessing Brett's bat. He was eventually ruled out and didn't react well.

The incident became widely known as the "Pine Tar Incident." MLB later reversed the call and the game was replayed from that point. Relax George.

3. Phillip Wellman, 2007

Some managers kick dirt when ejected. Others remove bases. Mississippi Braves manager Phillip Wellman simply did any and everything after being tossed from the game.

Did he actually throw a grenade? It appears so...

4. Lou Piniella, 2007

Lou Piniella was ejected for the first time as a manager for the Cubs. He got his money worth.

First the hat came off...then the dirt kick...and things only escalated from there.

5. Gary Allenson, 2011

This ejection is memorable simply because it will never be repeated.

After the Norfolk Tides appeared to hit a home run, the ball was found to have fallen short behind the padding. The call was reversed, and the hit ruled a double.

In a tirade, Allenson scaled the fencing in search of another ball to prove his point. He didn't find one. How embarrassing...
