ODESSA (AP) - Three Texas inmates injured in a prison bus wreck near Odessa that killed 10 people have been discharged from a public hospital to prison medical facilities.

Texas Department of Criminal Justice spokesman Jason Clark says corrections officer Jason Self remains in critical condition Wednesday at University Medical Center in Lubbock.

Self and four inmates survived the Jan. 14 prison bus accident on icy Interstate 20. Two guards and eight prisoners were killed.

The injured prisoners were treated at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa. Clark says Damien Rodriguez and Remigio Pineda have been transferred to a medical facility at the Montford Unit in Lubbock. Hector Rivera was moved to a prison hospital in Galveston.

Clark says inmate Terry Johnson was expected to be discharged Wednesday, also to the Montford Unit.
