2 arrested after road rage incident in Prosper

3 hurt in incident at Prosper gas station

PROSPER (CBS News Texas) – Two people have been arrested after an incident at a Prosper gas station.

Police say the incident began as a road rage altercation between two drivers, who stopped at the RaceTrac on Highway 380 and Gee Road just after 7 p.m. Sunday night.

When police arrived at the scene, there were three people with lacerations and "other knife wounds." They were all taken to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police determined that two of the three people were the aggressors and were arrested and booked into the Denton County Jail after they were released from the hospital. They face charges for assault causing bodily injury.

Police say there is no threat to the public.
