DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM/AP) — A second salon worker has been arrested on a murder charge after a Dallas woman who had silicone injections to expand her buttocks died while left alone at the shop.
Denise Rochelle Ross was arrested Thursday, with bond set at $45,000. Dallas County court records show Ross was sought on a murder warrant in the death of Wykesha Reid.
Jimmy Joe Clarke was arrested Tuesday on a murder charge after a coroner ruled Reid's death was a homicide. Both workers initially were charged with practicing medicine without a license.
Investigators say Ross and Clarke illegally injected Reid with silicone on February 18, and reportedly sealed her injection with Super Glue. An arrest affidavit says Clarke found Reid's body the next day at the salon.
Clarke remains free on bond.
Attorneys for the defendants didn't immediately return messages Thursday.
