13-Year-Old Boy Drowns In Clear Lake While Fishing

WISE COUNTY (CBSDFW.COM) - The body of a 13-year-old boy was recovered from Clear Lake near Alvord.
Authorities said he drowned Tuesday morning while he was fishing with his family.
Witnesses said a line got caught and the boy swam out to untangle it and started struggling.
Several people jumped in to try to save him, but were unsuccessful.
He was not wearing a life vest.
