107 Steers Stolen In McLennan County; Police Search For Suspects

WACO (CBSDFW.COM) – Rangers and local authorities are looking for thieves who stole 107 head of steers from a ranch near Waco.

According to Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association Special Ranger Marvin Wills, the steers weigh between 600 to 700 pounds, and each have an "FS" brand on the left hip. The cattle were stolen sometime between Aug. 1 and Oct. 8.

Anyone with further information regarding the theft should contact TSCRA's Operation Cow Thief hotline at 888.830.2333 or call Marvin Wills at 254.865.2571. A cash reward up to $10,000 may be paid to individuals who can provide useful information leading to the arrest and grand jury indictment of suspect(s).
