NEW YORK (AP) — About 100 dancers will pay tribute on September 11 with an outdoor performance at New York's Lincoln Center.

Organizers say the work, called "The Table of Silence Project ," is a "ritual for peace and healing."

The performance is choreographed by Jacqulyn Buglisi of the Buglisi Dance Theater.

Buglisi was inspired by Italian artist Rossella Vasta's sculptural installation of 100 ceramic plates that represent a banquet table uniting humanity.
