10-Year-Old Dies In Auto-Pedestrian Accident In Saginaw

SAGINAW (CBSDFW.COM) - Saginaw police responded to an auto-pedestrian accident Friday night on the 800 block of North Blue Mound Road.

Police said when officers arrived at the scene, they found that a 10-year-old boy had been struck by a vehicle traveling northbound on the road.

The victim was transported to Cook Children's Hospital in Fort Worth where he was pronounced dead.

The boy was identified as Emmanuel DeSantiago by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner.

Investigators said the driver of the vehicle is cooperating with officials.

According to investigators, the boy was leaving a football game at Saginaw High School and was crossing the street when he was struck.
