Try The 'Impossible Burger' For Free In San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) – The burger that was engineered in Silicon Valley is now arriving in San Francisco on Sunday by way of a food truck. You can now try out the burger that contains no animal protein.

Impossible Foods, the makers of the Impossible Burger will be giving away a vegan version of their sought after burger at Dolores Park in San Francisco. Their food truck will be parked at the park from 12Noon to 4:00pm. They will have a limited amount of burgers on-hand and they suggest to get there early.

The Impossible Burger became available Thursday at two San Francisco restaurants, Cockscomb located on Fourth Street and Jardiniere, near the Civic Center. Some vegetarians went to both on Thursday.

Impossible Foods is Redwood City company, funded by Khosla Ventures, Bill Gates, Google Ventures and others.
