Power Restored For Thousands Of San Francisco PG&E Customers, Outages Remain In Mountain View And Santa Rosa

(CBS SF) -- Power is back for all PG&E customers in San Francisco's Sunset District after thousands were initially affected following a pole fire this morning, PG&E spokesman J.D. Guidi said.

The outage was reported around 6:10 a.m. and initially affected 2,242 customers following a pole fire on Pacheco Street near 43rd Avenue, Guidi said.

Meanwhile ,a power outage affecting roughly 8,957 Mountain View customers was reported around 6:25 a.m., Guidi said. As of about 7:30 a.m., power was restored to all but 3,890 customers.

A third power outage affected roughly 1,149 customers in an area northeast of Sonoma State University around 5:30 a.m., according to PG&E. Crews responded and restored power to all customers by 7:11 a.m., Guidi said.
