1-Alarm Blaze At Multi-Story Residence In SF Pacific Heights Under Control

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- A one-alarm fire at a 4-story home in San Francisco's Pacific Heights has been brought under control Saturday morning, according to fire officials.

The fire was first reported at around 9:50 a.m. at 2517 Pacific Ave., a fire dispatcher said.

Upon arrival firefighters saw heavy smoke and fire coming from the building's attic, according to the dispatcher.

Firefighters were able to bring the blaze under control by about 10:35 a.m., fire spokesman Jonathan Baxter said.

No one was injured during the incident. A single family lived at the home and it was not immediately clear if they were displaced.

The cause remains under investigation, according to Baxter.
