San Francisco Fire Officials Investigate Recent Dumpster Fires

SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS) — San Francisco fire officials say there has been a rash of dumpsters set on fire by one or more arsonists over the last few weeks, most of which have occurred in the South of Market area.

Two charred dumpsters current sit against the wall near the service entrance of a building at First and Tehama streets where a fire was set early Tuesday morning.

Early Thursday morning, another fire was set at 16th and Hoff Streets in the Mission District.
