San Francisco Firefighters Contain 1-Alarm House Fire In Mission District

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- Firefighters have contained a one-alarm fire at a home in San Francisco's Mission District Saturday afternoon, according to fire officials.

The fire was first reported around 11:40 a.m. at 2888 Folsom Street, fire officials said.

No injuries were reported. It was not immediately clear if any residents were displaced as a result of the blaze, fire officials said.

The 2800 block of Folsom Street was closed for fire operations and fire officials had asked residents to avoid the area.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, according to fire officials.
