Man Killed In Oakland Shooting

OAKLAND (CBS SF) -- A male was gunned down in East Oakland Wednesday night and the suspect remains at large, police said.

Officers responded to a report of a shooting in the area of 11th Avenue and East 24th Street at about 10:35 p.m., police said.

When officers arrived, they found a male suffering from at least one gunshot wound, according to police.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not yet been released.

No arrests were made and no suspect information was immediately available.
