Man Arrested At Fairfield Courthouse For Allegedly Pulling Knife

FAIRFIELD (CBS SF) -- A Fairfield man was arrested Wednesday for allegedly pulling a knife during a confrontation in front of the Fairfield branch of the Superior Court of California.

Brody Shore, 30, was arrested on suspicion of exhibiting a deadly weapon and resisting a police officer.

Solano County sheriff's deputies responded at 2:23 p.m. to the courthouse at 600 Union Ave. after Shore reportedly refused a sheriff's security officer's order to leave the premises.

Deputies said Shore refused to leave and displayed a knife to the security officer.

Shore refused multiple commands by deputies to drop the knife, so deputies Tased him and took him into custody, deputies said.

He was transported to the hospital for medical clearance and then booked into the Solano County Jail.
