Magnitude 6.0 Earthquake Strikes Myanmar

(CBS SF) -- A preliminary magnitude 6.0 earthquake struck the Southeast Asian country of Myanmar early Friday morning (local time).

The quake struck at about 12:56 a.m. on Friday, according to the USGS.

The earthquake had a depth of about 6.2 miles.
