Ice Cube Joined by N.W.A. at Coachella

(RADIO.COM) – They didn't perform last Friday night at their induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, but tonight at Coachella, three of the surviving members of N.W.A. hit the stage together during Ice Cube's set.

MC Ren and DJ Yella joined Cube; sadly, Dr. Dre wasn't there (which was evident when Cube played his '94 collab with Dre, "Natural Born Killaz," earlier in his set, sans the Doctor). They played "Straight Outta Compton," the title track from the band's classic 1988 album, and also the title of their biopic from last year. After that, they were joined by Cube's son, O'Shea Jackson, who played him in the film, for "Dopeman." Then, they played "F— the Police," even though Cube said that he was told backstage that they couldn't play the song.

Later in the set, Cube's one-time rival and Barbershop co-star Common joined him for "Real People," their collaboration from the Barbershop soundtrack.

The guests didn't end there: Snoop Dogg later joined for their 2006 collab "Go to Church." All the guests later came out for Cube's "It Was a Good Day." And for hip-hop fans, it was a good day.
