Police Seek Suspect Who Shoplifted Purses From Gilroy Outlet Store

GILROY (CBS SF) -- Police are asking for the public's help to identify and locate a female suspect who allegedly shoplifted from a Gilroy outlet store Tuesday, taking over $1,000 in merchandise.

At 7:22 p.m., the suspect entered the Michael Kors Outlet at 681 Leavesly Road, according to police.

The suspect allegedly chose four purses and ran out of the store without paying for them. The merchandise taken was worth around $1,106, police said.

Police have released surveillance images of the suspect and are asking anyone who may recognize her to contact them at (408) 846-0350.
