Caught On Camera: Burglars Ransack Belmont Computer Store

BELMONT (CBS SF) -- Police in Belmont were asking for the public's help in finding those who burglarized a computer store in a smash-and-grab style operation that was captured on a surveillance camera.

The security camera at EPC Computer Solutions on the 1300 block of El Camino Real shows a burglar tossing large rocks into the store's glass front door.

The burglary happened last Friday just after 2:00 a.m.

Two burglars were seen on the security video, one which entered the business and the other who remained outside. Both were dressed in hooded sweatshirts but their gender and race were unknown.

The burglars made off with laptops and other items and fled in a dark SUV.
