Billionaire Warren Buffett Makes Bid For Yahoo

SUNNYVALE (CBS SF) -- Warren Buffett is reportedly making a bid for Yahoo.

Sources close to the sale told Reuters a consortium backed by the billionaire is among the bidders for the struggling tech giant's core Internet business.

Quicken Loans founder Dan Gilbert is part of the consortium. Right now they are in the second round of bidding.

Analysts estimate the final sale price will be somewhere between $5 billion and $8 billion.
