Bernie Sanders Holds Campaign Rally In Vallejo

VALLEJO (CBS SF) --  Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders whirled through the Bay Area Wednesday, ending his day with an enthusiastic speech in the city of Vallejo.

In 2008, Vallejo, the largest city in Solano County, filed for bankruptcy. The city was released from bankruptcy three years later.

Sanders spoke to the crowd about how he would, if elected, help bring about a free college education for all and increase income equality, among other issues.

The full speech, delivered on May 18th, 2016 in Vallejo, can be viewed below.

Earlier on Wednesday Sanders met with supporters at rallies in both San Jose and San Francisco. His visit to the Bay Area comes just three weeks before California's primary election.
