4 Suspects Arrested For Oakland Strong-Arm Robbery

OAKLAND (CBS SF) -- Four suspects have been arrested for a strong-armed robbery in East Oakland last week, police said Wednesday.

The victim of the robbery in the 6000 block of Majestic Avenue, near Mills College, at about 9 a.m. last Thursday told police that she was approached by two suspects who demanded her purse and then escaped in a waiting vehicle.

Police said officers were then able to locate the suspects' vehicle in the 9000 block of Coral Road in another part of East Oakland and arrest a total of four suspects.

Police said the victim's loss was recovered but didn't say what had been taken.

They said a preliminary investigation revealed that the suspects may be connected to other robberies.
