Students Participate in Sac PD CSI Challenge

SACRAMENTO-- Students in the community eager to learn about law enforcement, got a pretty unique experience

 

The Sacramento Police Department put on their CSI Magnet Academy Challenge Saturday. It was held at the Northern California Regional Public Safety Training Center.

 

Students from Hiram Johnson, McClatchy, Kennedy and Grant High Schools all participated in the program

 

Students were given scenes to analyze for evidence and to process, just as CSI would for an actual incident.

"I gained a lot of confidence," said one student.

 

It was a positive opportunity to prepare youth for careers in law enforcement.  McClatchy High school won the competition
