Schools Impacted By The Storm

Most school districts will be holding classes as normal despite an impending storm predicted to be one of the biggest in the past few years.

The following is a list of school districts that will still be open Thursday:

-Davis Joint Unified School District
-Elk Grove Unified School District
-Folsom Cordova Unified School District
-Sacramento City Unified School District
Note: Officials say that many school activities (including sports, meetings and field trips) are being postponed.
-San Juan Unified School District

The following schools have announced they will be closed:

-San Joaquin Delta College
-Sacramento Waldorf School in Fair Oaks
-Sacramento Valley Charter School
-St. Francis High School, Sacramento
-Numerous schools in El Dorado County, including: Bijou Community School, Lake Tahoe Eny Science Magnet School, Mt. Tallac High School, Sierra House School, South Tahoe High School, South Tahoe Middle School and Tahoe Valley School
