Part of Main Street in Roseville closed after water main leak
Emergency repair work is underway along a major road in Roseville after a water main leak overnight.
The scene is on Main Street near Fremont Street.
City of Roseville crews responded early Thursday morning. Roseville police shut down the area due to the incident.
Exactly what caused the leak is unclear. Roseville officials say water service is off for about 30 homes in the area due to the incident.
Water service is expected to be restored by midday, officials say.
Due to the work, Main Street is closed between Fremont Street and Vallejo Avenue. No estimated time of reopening has been given.
