DeMarcus Cousins Does Not Make All-Star Team

Sacramento Kings center DeMarcus Cousins wasn't voted as an all-star reserve.

Cousins is 5th in the NBA scoring (23.8 PPG), 3rd in rebounding (12.8) and 4th in double-doubles (26) in 32 games.

There is a chance that Cousins makes the team as an injury replacement, which is selected by the NBA commissioner. Cousins will have competition with Portland point guard Damian Lillard (21.8 PPG, 6.2 APG, and 4.6 RPG). The Blazers are 32-14 and are the 3rd seed in the Western Conference.

Lakers shooting guard Kobe Bryant was voted in as a starter but will not play after undergoing surgery for a torn rotator cuff. Bryant also missed last season's game and was replaced by Pelicans power forward Anthony Davis.

Western Conference reseves:

-Kevin Durant-OKC, Russell Westbrook-OKC, James Harden-HOU, LaMarcus Aldridge-POR, Tim Duncan-SAS and Klay Thompson-GSW.
