Macy's Moving Shipping Into Former Campbell's Soup Building In South Sacramento

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — Macy's will be moving into part of the old Campbell's Soup building in South Sacramento, the company announced on Thursday.

The center will handle distribution of purchases from Macy's online stores. The move is expected to bring 100 full-time positions, and the equivalent of 75 more full-time positions.

Campbell's announced the closure in 2012, taking with it 700 jobs, and shut down the plant in mid-2013

The Sacramento County Board of Supervisors will review the project at Tuesday's meeting.
