Legal Document In Lawsuit Against Matt Barnes and DeMarcus Cousins

Sports 1140 KHTK has obtained a copy of the legal document in the lawsuit against Matt Barnes and DeMarcus Cousins.

Attorney Emily Compagno joined Carmichael Dave and Nate Goodyear on The Drive on Thursday morning to give some insight into the in civil suit.

Compagno relieved the statements made by the alleged victims towards the Sacramento Kings players. The document states the "plaintiffs bring this action for compensatory damages and punitive damages arising out of an altercation."

Cousins and Barnes were allegedly involved in some sort of fight that took place in New York nightclub in the early morning hours of Monday, December 5, 2016.
