Fire Near Rollins Lake Prompts Evacuations In Nevada County

NEVADA COUNTY (CBS13) — A fire in Nevada County is forcing evacuations.
The Greenhorn Fire is burning in the area of Rollins Lake near Highway 174. It is at around 15 acres in size.
Mandatory evacuations are in effect for Louis Road, Frederick Way and Marie Lane.

The fire is burning in vegetation at a campground.
Ground crews are working the fire and no air units have been requested yet.
