Dry Weather Continues, Little Chance Of Rain Ahead

The dry spell continues in Northern California with few chances for rain ahead.

Sacramento once again broke a high temperature record Saturday, topping out at 69. The old record was 68.

The dry and sunny conditions will continue for the rest of the weekend and into next week. Temperatures will hold steady in the valley reaching the upper 60s most days.

Minor changes are possible late Wednesday into Thursday as forecast models indicate a weak system will try and move into the area. There is little model agreement at this time, so confidence is low that we will see rain from the system.

If we do see rain, it won't be much, and will favor areas north of I-80 and the mountains.

More time is needed to see if the rain will actually pan out.
