'Dead' Comet Flies By Earth On Halloween
MAUNA KEA, Hawaii (CBS13) - Fittingly, a "dead" comet that is passing by Earth this Halloween looks a bit like a skull.

NASA compiled the haunting photo on Friday using radar data. Numerous angles were imaged, and one angle in particular brought out the face.
Not does it look like a skull, NASA says, but the comet is also considered dead. Scientists say the comet looks to be an object "that has shed its volatiles after numerous passes around the sun."
The comet flew safely by Earth around 10 a.m. Saturday, according to NASA.
