Man Throws Molotov Cocktail Into West Sacramento Business

WEST SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - Arson investigators in West Sacramento are looking for clues in an apparent burglary overnight.

It happened at the Venera European Market on the corner of West Capitol Avenue and Harbor Boulevard.

Police officers first responded for a burglary alarm. When they arrived, they found one of the front windows smashed open and later found a device used to start fires.

Surveillance video at the store shows a man dressed in a red and black jacket throw a brick through the window. Moments later, he returns and throws the Molotov cocktail through the window.

"It's a pretty scary thing... A little bit scary, I would say," said Dmitri Pavlushkin, whose family owns he store.
Owners of the business say they do not recognize the man.
