7 Injured In Sacramento County Crash Following CHP Pursuit

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — A California Highway Patrol chase has ended in a crash that injured seven people in Sacramento County.

The crash happened near the intersection of Florin and Power Inn roads.

The CHP says the chase started when officers tried to pull over a driver who then took off and ended up part of a three-vehicle crash.

Seven people were injured in the crash. Four of them were taken to the hospital, but are expected to survive.

A 41-year-old man was taken into custody on suspicion of DUI and evading officers.
